Build Resilient Teams. Sustain Your Impact.
Trauma-informed training and consultancy for ethical organisations making a difference
I support organisations across the private, public, and third sectors that are having a positive impact on the world – while recognising the importance of caring for their own mental, physical, and emotional health, too.
Through CPD-accredited, trauma-informed training programmes (delivered in partnership with the Mental Wellbeing Company), alongside coaching, consultancy, and corporate wellness initiatives, I help leaders, employees, and volunteers thrive — not just survive (or worse still, but common), burnout.
My evidence-based approach goes beyond box-ticking or run-of-the mill educational content you’ve heard too many times before. Instead, it fosters a sustainable culture of genuine care, resilience, and wellbeing, without the fluff.
By investing in meaningful training and support, your organisation can sustain its vital work while truly demonstrating that it values its people and understands the importance of investing in them.

Strong leaders

As a leader, your wellbeing shapes the culture of your entire team. Prioritising your own resilience and emotional intelligence helps you navigate challenges and model healthy behaviours. A trauma-informed approach enables you to understand subtle stress signals and respond with empathy.
When leaders lead with care and strength, the whole organisation thrives — from staff to service users. This commitment to your own growth not only prevents burnout, but inspires a culture of loyalty, trust, and sustainable success, and you will feel calmer and more at ease in the process.
Wellness MOT

Are your employees feeling disengaged or overwhelmed, but you’re unsure where to start? Or maybe you already have wellness initiatives in place, yet you know there’s room to go further and truly embed a culture of care.
As a wellness consultant, I conduct comprehensive organisational audits to uncover challenges, listen to your staff, and work closely with leaders at every level. Together, we create a clear, sustainable strategy that strengthens wellbeing, boosts engagement, and moves your organisation toward the thriving, purpose-driven workplace you and your stakeholders envision.
Healthy employees

Your people are the heart of your organisation, and their wellbeing determines its success. Stress, personal challenges, and unseen pressures can quietly impact how employees perform and engage, often showing up as subtle or even troubling behaviours. Left unaddressed, these pressures can lead to burnout, low morale, and high staff turnover.
A trauma-informed approach helps you understand and respond to these nuances, creating a culture of genuine care and resilience. When your team feels truly valued and supported, they can thrive — and so can your organisation.
Happy customers

Gone are the days when businesses could rely on customer loyalty, limited choices, or get away with mediocre service. Today, people talk — and they’re far more likely to share negative experiences than positive ones. Customers have high values and morals, and they vote with their wallets, choosing organisations that align with what matters to them. Your customers or service users are just as crucial as your employees, and the success of your business depends on nurturing both. By going above and beyond to genuinely care for and support them, you build trust, loyalty, and a reputation that lasts.
The Power of Being Trauma-Informed at Work
Trauma isn’t always the result of a single life-changing event. It can develop from chronic stress, repeated challenges, or environments where people feel unsafe or unsupported. These experiences leave an imprint on the nervous system, often showing up as automatic survival responses such as fight, flight, or freeze, which can quietly influence how someone thinks, feels, and performs at work.
In the workplace, this may look like overthinking every decision, avoiding calls or difficult tasks, or emotionally shutting down under pressure. Others may respond by people-pleasing, overworking, or overachieving—pushing themselves to excel while neglecting their health, relationships, and personal life. Leaders under similar strain may struggle with clarity, communication, and decision-making, creating ripple effects that impact the whole team. Over time, this leads to burnout, low morale, and high turnover.
A trauma-informed approach helps organisations understand and respond to these patterns, fostering psychological safety, resilience, and sustainable performance. When employees feel truly supported and leaders model emotional intelligence, both people and the organisation can thrive rather than just survive.
